The Role • Act as a cashier and/or stocker, taking a lead role in the absence of store management. • Unload trucks, receive, unpack, and stock merchandise according to company processes. • Assist with setting and maintaining plan-o-grams, ensuring appealing merchandise presentation. • Provide exemplary customer service, assisting customers with locating products and ensuring satisfaction. • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards, including front-end presentation and floor care. • In the absence of management, authorize refunds, manage cash register counts, and assist with bank deposits. What You'll Need • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions. • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, and deposit controls. • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic register functions. • Understanding of safety and security practices within a retail environment. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interaction. • Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidelines.
