Job Description

As a Recruitment Advisor in the not-for-profit sector, you'll support the day-to-day recruitment process, ensuring the organisation attracts and secures the right talent. Based in Worcester, you'll be a key part of the Human Resources team, helping the organisation run smoothly by managing hiring needs efficiently.

Client Details

An established and highly respected organisation within the education sector is seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join its Human Resources team on an interim fixed-term basis. They are based in Worcester and the role will be hybrid.

Description

As Recruitment Advisor, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a diverse range of vacancies. Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you'll provide expert recruitment advice, deliver effective attraction strategies, support candidate sourcing initiatives, and ensure a positive candidate experience from application through to onboarding.

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns from advert creation through to onboarding.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to develop recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Providing advice on recruitment best practice, policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Supporting shortlisting and interview processes.
  • Managing pre-employment screening and compliance checks.
  • Developing innovative sourcing and attraction strategies, including social media and talent pooling.
  • Supporting recruitment reporting, process improvement initiatives and ATS development.
  • Coaching and advising managers on recruitment and selection best practices.
  • Contributing to wider HR and organisational projects where required.

Profile

We're looking for a confident and customer-focused Recruitment Advisor who can quickly build relationships and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working in either an in-house recruitment function or agency recruitment environment.
  • Strong experience of managing recruitment campaigns and candidate attraction strategies.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • A solid understanding of UK employment legislation relating to recruitment and selection.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to influence and advise managers at varying levels of seniority.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
  • An understanding of GDPR and confidentiality within a people-focused environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from 33,300 to 40,700, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Fixed-term contract with benefits included.
