Linux Kernel Software Engineer

Everpure, Inc. is seeking a Linux Kernel Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize low-level Linux components that power modern data and analytics platforms. You will build and tune kernel modules, filesystems, and networking stacks to support high-throughput, low-latency data workloads in cloud and hybrid environments. Working closely with data engineers and platform teams, you'll troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, contribute to upstream projects, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux kernel modules, drivers, and subsystems for data-intensive workloads.
• Optimize filesystems, storage, and networking paths for high throughput and low latency in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex kernel-level performance, reliability, and security issues in production systems.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to align kernel tuning with analytics and AI platform requirements.
• Contribute to and interact with upstream Linux and open-source communities as appropriate.
• Develop tools and scripts for kernel debugging, profiling, and observability.
• Document designs, performance findings, and best practices for internal teams.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
