Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer in Denver, CO. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Summary

We're seeking a Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. This role is responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring high availability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Engineer will configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure including switches, wireless, DHCP, and related technologies
• Monitor network performance and resolve complex connectivity issues
• Perform network upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities
• As a Network Engineer, you will maintain network documentation and asset inventories
• Collaborate with technical teams and provide guidance to junior staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• CCNA certification
• 2+ years of network engineering experience
• Cisco networking experience with CCNA-level knowledge
• Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Healthcare industry experience
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless networking, routing, switching, and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
