Senior Business Analyst - Workflow Automation (BPMN)

Overview

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise workflow automation initiatives and ongoing application enhancements. This role will partner with business and technical teams to validate BPMN workflows, manage Agile delivery, support testing, and drive workflow improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must-Haves

• Strong Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise technology solutions.


• Hands-on experience with BPMN 2.0 workflow modeling, validation, and business process analysis.


• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Flowable (preferred), Camunda, Appian, Pega, IBM BAW, or Activiti.


• Strong Agile experience including backlog management, user stories, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.


• Experience supporting projects during active development and implementation.


• Hands-on experience with UAT, defect management, release validation, and production support.


• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and refine BPMN 2.0 workflow models, business rules, routing logic, approvals, and process automation.


• Gather and document business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.


• Partner with product, engineering, QA, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver workflow solutions.


• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirements clarification, and Agile delivery.


• Coordinate testing, UAT, defect resolution, release readiness, and deployment activities.


• Analyze production issues, prioritize enhancements, and support ongoing application maintenance.


• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
