Software Test Engineer- Regulatory Compliance Team

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 to 5 years in a software development organization
- Proficiency in designing test cases and creating test data
- Experience scripting with Python for test automation
- Advanced SQL skills for relational databases (joins, aggregation, window functions)
- Comfortable using Linux for everyday tasks (shell, file handling, log inspection)
- Knowledge of Git and standard code review practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an aptitude for problem-solving

**Preferred Skills:**

- Experience with data pipelines or ETL processes, including source-to-target validation
- Familiarity with Spark, Hive, and big data concepts for querying large datasets
- Ability to translate technical specifications into actionable checks

**Nice to Have:**

- Exposure to Java, Docker/Kubernetes, or GenAI LLM models
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Knowledge in capital markets or regulatory reporting (trade reporting, equities, options, etc.)
