SEN / SEND Tutor | Blyth, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour
We are seeking passionate educators to join a leading organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact within your community, working flexibly and creatively to support vulnerable learners.
- *The Role**
- Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, tailored to your skills and experience.
- Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
- Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
- Work with a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.
- *What You'll Need**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
- Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
- Right to work in the UK.
