Are you an Electrical design engineer coming from the automation industry looking to step into a role with a global Vision Systems expert working in a tight-knit team of 2 on a wide range of automation projects while offering real progression to a Lead / Senior role?

This is a chance to join a company that design, build and integrate bespoke automated machinery and vision systems for some of the biggest conglomerates such as Jaguar and Pepsico. Recently merging companies, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on their continued growth

In this role you will be responsible for designing bespoke automations systems for manufacturing companies. You will use PLC and be creating 2D drawing sets of the project and submitting them for quotation before supporting the operatives in the actual building of what you have designed. You will work closely with the Electrical design team in creating system architecture.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer looking to join a company where no two 2 days will be the same offering a wide range of projects and real progression being the go-to Design Engineer

The Role:

• Designing bespoke automated machinery for manufactures
• Using Siemens and Alan Bradley PLC's and creating Electrical Designs on AutoCAD
• Keeping schematics drawings up to date throughout the projects
• Support control engineers and operatives in the build and diagnosis of machinery
• Monday -Friday (9am-5pm, flexitime) and potential hybrid working after probation

• Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in automation#
• Experience in designing bespoke machinery
• Willing to commute to office in Didcot
