We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience who is looking to expand their expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and individuals.
- Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients.
- Research tax laws and regulations to support compliance and tax planning strategies.
- Assist with tax planning, consulting engagements, and special projects.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Communicate directly with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate with partners and senior staff on complex tax and advisory engagements.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Stay current on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax.
- Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing priorities.
- Must reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
- Candidates with less experience should be available for occasional travel to the Allentown, PA office for training and collaboration.
- Highly experienced candidates may qualify for a fully remote arrangement with minimal travel.
