The Role

• Act in a lead capacity in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations and staff.
• Provide exemplary customer service, assisting customers in locating merchandise and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Manage stocking and replenishment of merchandise, including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining product displays according to plan-o-grams.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, operating the cash register and handling payments.
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures, maintaining operational standards.
• Support in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and employees.

What You'll Need

• Proven ability to perform mathematical calculations for transactions and inventory.
• Experience with cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, and deposit control.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and scanning equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety policies, cash control procedures, and security practices.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interaction.
• Ability to read and implement plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines.
