RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Winchester, VA.

What You'll Do:
* Data Engineer will design, develop, and support advanced data analytics solutions for desktop and web-based applications
* Build and optimize data pipelines that process structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources
* Develop data integration, transformation, and analytics capabilities to support visualization and decision-making platforms
* Leverage advanced graphics, visualization tools, and high-performance computing technologies to enable large-scale relational data analysis
* As a Data Engineer, you will work with open-source, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) technologies to deliver innovative solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform data into meaningful, actionable intelligence
* Ensure data quality, integrity, scalability, and performance across analytics environments
* Support the continuous enhancement of data platforms and analytic capabilities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience designing and developing data engineering or analytics solutions
* Experience working with structured and semi-structured datasets
* Knowledge of data warehousing, data transformation, and large-scale data processing
* Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms
* Understanding of modern data engineering best practices and technologies
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
