Job Title: Oracle WebCenter Content Developer / ECM Developer
Location: Downtown Houston, TX 77002

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle WebCenter Content Developer / ECM Developer to provide technical development and support for Oracle WebCenter Content, Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition, and Oracle Capture applications.

This individual will support business users, troubleshoot and resolve application issues, participate in change management activities, and work closely with a large Oracle support team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with IT and business stakeholders.

This position will primarily support the existing Oracle WebCenter Content 12c environment while also assisting with activities related to the organization's upgrade to Oracle WebCenter Content 14c.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience configuring and customizing Oracle WebCenter Content 12c (formerly Stellent/UCM), including RIDC.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
  • Experience migrating content from legacy repositories into Oracle WebCenter Content.
  • Experience with SQL and a strong understanding of Oracle databases.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) processes and concepts, including:
    • Taxonomies
    • Records Management
    • Metadata
    • Workflows
    • Search
    • Security

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical development and production support for Oracle WebCenter Content 12c (UCM/Stellent).
  • Provide technical development and support for Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
  • Work with IT and business teams to resolve day-to-day support issues and tickets.
  • Perform batch file loads and updates within Oracle WebCenter Content.
  • Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, rules, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop technical specifications and solutions.
  • Support content migration activities from legacy repositories into Oracle WebCenter Content.
  • Participate in change management activities and applicable SOX control requirements.
  • Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as needed.
  • Support Accounts Payable users with invoice-related issues within WFR and Capture.
  • Participate in monthly maintenance activities for ECM and related applications.
  • Assist with improving support processes, service delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work as a member of a large Oracle support team while managing responsibilities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and/or React.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and SQL.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch.
  • Experience integrating Oracle WebCenter Content with other business applications.
  • Experience developing custom user interfaces for Oracle WebCenter Content.
  • Linux system administration experience, including building and maintaining application environments.
  • Experience supporting or participating in an Oracle WebCenter Content 14c upgrade.
