Job Description

Our client is a globally recognised leader in the design and manufacture of electronic products for the fire and security sector. With full product life cycle capabilities based at a state-of-the-art South Wales facility, they deliver innovative, life-safety solutions to customers worldwide, backed by strong investment in R&D and engineering excellence.

They are seeking a Certification Engineer to join a dynamic R&D engineering team, located in Gwent, South Wales. This role focuses on ensuring products meet international compliance standards through robust verification, validation, and certification processes.

What you will be doing as a Certification Engineer, in Gwent, South Wales:

  • Ensure compliance of products through verification, validation, and testing against international standards
  • Manage certification activities, including documentation and coordination with third-party test bodies
  • Develop and align test plans, specifications, and compliance strategies with stakeholders
  • Conduct GAP analysis and support audits to ensure successful project delivery.

The skills needed:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 3-5 years' experience in compliance/testing
  • Strong electronic and electrical engineering background
  • Effective communicator with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
