SEN / SEND Tutor | Belford, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate educators to join a leading organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Make a significant impact in your community by providing tailored support and flexible teaching opportunities in a child-centred environment.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on activities, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with children and young people referred by local authorities and schools.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
