Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: Arlington, VA (Onsite)

Role Overview

A hands-on Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer with an architectural mindset to design and build scalable enterprise data platforms on Snowflake (Google Cloud Platform). The role requires experience in standing up modern data platforms, with exposure to Value-Based Care (VBC) data models and familiarity with Data Foundry-style enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

·  Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and data models on Snowflake

·  Contribute to enterprise data platform setup (greenfield / modernization)

·  Implement solutions aligned to modern data architectures (lakehouse / Data Foundry)

·  Build and manage data layers (ingestion, curated, semantic)

·  Enable integration across EMR, claims, and external datasets

·  Ensure governance, lineage, and data quality

Core Technical Skills

·  Hands-on Snowflake experience (3–5+ years)

·  Snowflake on Google Cloud Platform

·  Advanced SQL and data modeling

·  ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airflow)

·  Batch and streaming ingestion patterns

Platform & Data Foundry Experience

·  Experience building enterprise data platforms

·  Understanding of Data Foundry frameworks (ingestion, governance, reuse)

·  Ability to contribute to architecture and scalability decisions

·  Knowledge of lakehouse and modern data practices

Healthcare / VBC Experience (Preferred)

·  Population health and care management data

·  Claims + clinical + EMR integration

·  Patient / Member 360 models

·  FHIR / HL7 exposure
