Sr DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our dealer and consumer digital platforms. This role is critical to ensuring scalable deployments, strong observability, and operational excellence across services running on AWS.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, automation‑driven, and deeply experienced with AWS deployments, logging, monitoring, and production support, while partnering closely with application engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and operate AWS‑based deployment pipelines for cloud‑native applications.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable, and secure releases.
• Build and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure high system visibility.
• Establish standards for observability, including logs, metrics, and traces across services.
• Partner with engineering teams to support production readiness, release coordination, and incident response.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Support containerized workloads and cloud‑native deployment patterns.
• Improve system resiliency, scalability, and recovery through automation and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues using logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Collaborate with Security and Platform teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, including services such as:
• ECS / EKS / Fargate
• EC2, VPC, IAM
• CloudWatch, S3, ALB/NLB
• Deep experience with logging and observability platforms, such as:
• CloudWatch Logs
• Splunk
• Dynatrace
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and deployment strategies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support production systems.

Added Bonus If You Have

• Experience supporting Java‑based microservices in production.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience in automotive, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Exposure to SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience with blue/green or canary deployments.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
