IT Project Manager (ERP / SAP Transformation)

FTC c.18 Months | £60,000-£80,000 | Essex (Hybrid) An exciting opportunity to lead a major SAP-led ERP transformation programme within a well-established UK organisation.

You will take ownership of a business-critical implementation programme, working closely with senior stakeholders and implementation partners to deliver significant operational and systems change.

This is a highly visible role combining project leadership, business change and stakeholder management, with responsibility for guiding a major ERP implementation from planning through to successful deployment and adoption.

Core Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of a major ERP implementation programme through to go-live and business adoption.<br />Manage implementation partners, third-party suppliers and key project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.<br />Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring risks, dependencies and timelines are effectively managed.<br />Establish programme governance, reporting structures and delivery controls.<br />Oversee testing, training, business readiness and change management activities.<br />Work closely with Finance, Operations and Technology teams to support successful implementation and adoption.<br />Provide regular programme updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Expertise &amp; Experience Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects or programmes through the full project lifecycle.<br />Previous experience working within SAP environments is essential.<br />Experience supporting or delivering SAP implementation programmes is highly desirable.<br />S/4HANA experience would be advantageous but is not essential.<br />Experience managing implementation partners, systems integrators and third-party vendors.<br />Strong project governance, stakeholder management and risk management capability.<br />Experience delivering business change alongside systems implementation.<br />Experience within manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, wholesale or supply chain environments would be advantageous.

Whilst S/4HANA experience would be advantageous, we are also keen to hear from candidates with broader ERP implementation experience and exposure to SAP environments.
