Job Description

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of overall IT experience
  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring vCenter Server
  • Experience managing ESXi clusters
  • Strong knowledge of VMware technologies, including:
    • vSphere
    • vCenter
    • Aria Suite
  • Experience implementing NSX, SRM, and/or vSAN in disaster recovery or failover environments
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and designing complex distributed systems, including:
    • Failover strategies
    • Recovery/rollback processes
    • Application partitioning
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining the health of virtual machines across multiple data centers

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of network and storage architectures, including:
    • SCSI, RAID, Ethernet
    • Multi-processor (SMP) designs
  • Experience virtualizing enterprise applications
  • Familiarity with AWS environments
  • Experience with VMware v7
  • Strong networking background
  • Experience supporting cloud migration efforts
  • Experience with automation and operational integration across IT infrastructure
