Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with excellent hands-on expertise in SAP PP to support manufacturing and production planning processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to independently analyze business requirements, configure SAP PP, troubleshoot issues, and support end-to-end production planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning).
• Configure and support SAP PP processes in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Work with business teams to understand manufacturing and production planning requirements.
• Support Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor processes.
• Configure and support BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and Master Data.
• Analyze and resolve production planning and SAP PP issues.
• Support integration between SAP PP and other modules including MM, SD, QM, and CO.
• Participate in testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and production support activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams when required.
• Provide user support and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning and Manufacturing processes.
• Experience with MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, and Shop Floor processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with BOM, Routing, Work Center, Production Version, and Material Master.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, QM, and CO.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

• Experience in discrete or process manufacturing environments.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• Experience working with global manufacturing organizations.
• Experience supporting production planning transformation initiatives.

Location & Travel

• 100% Remote within the USA
• Initial 2-week travel to Canada is required.
• Candidate must be able to travel internationally for the initial onsite engagement.
