OKTA Security engineer

As part of our growing Information Security team this security engineering position will be part of managing the lifecycle of identities and the tools and platforms that make the end user experience frictionless and secure. As an Identity and Access Management Security Engineer you will be critical to the success of our goals and mission within security. You will hold a lead role with the team for all facets of IAM systems (PAM, IGA, Audit/Access Reviews, SSO, Directory Services, MFA, etc. ) and most importantly how these roles interconnect to provide solid automation and secure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Be a subject matter expert for identity provisioning and security
• Work with internal stakeholders to configure internal applications for use with Okta SSO
• Support Okta solutions for SSO, MFA, and federation
• Troubleshoot MFA and Single-Sign on issues with Okta and Active Directory
• Identify and implement opportunities for technology, automation, and security enhancements for IAM functions
• Facilitate the onboarding of applications into Okta
• Identifying ways to improve end-user experiences with Okta
• Support integration of M&A activities
• Continuously learn and innovate. Participate in developing new solutions to complex problems. Cross-train with other Information Security team members to share knowledge and learn from others
• Identify potential threats, exploit attempts and other security events related to IAM. Make recommendations and/or take action to mitigate these issues as appropriate. Actively contribute to and participate in security incident response as needed
• Work with the Security Team to remediate critical security findings as they relate to identity

Qualifications:

• 5 direct years of experience with Identity and Access Management technologies
• 5 years of relevant hands-on technical management experience implementing and/or managing IAM related tools and platforms
• Working knowledge of Okta; Multi-Factor Authentication; Conditional Access
• Working knowledge of SAML, OpenID, OAuth, WS-Federation
• Experience with Okta FastPass is a plus
• Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory
• Ability to work productively while remote and communicate effectively in a virtual team environment
• IAM Automation experience
• Troubleshooting and support for the Account Provisioning team
