Job Description

Title: Clinical Data Engineer
Duration: 12 Months Extendable
Location: Richmond, VA

Ideal Candidate Profile: 
Seeking a Clinical Data Engineer with experience designing, integrating, and managing clinical data across multiple healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data architecture, ETL/data processing, and healthcare data platforms such as Oracle Health (Cerner), with the ability to develop scalable, high-quality longitudinal data solutions using modern cloud technologies.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Designing the conceptual and logical frameworks required to support the idea of a "clinical data domain "
  • Identifying common data elements between multiple disparate origin source data systems
  • Devising and implementing a plan to merge data into a cohesive, longitudinal data framework regardless of origin
  • Coordinating data extracts / exports with the origin source data systems
  • Defining and implementing data cleansing / processing routines
