Applications Engineer

Description Build your future with a highly visible, customer-facing engineering team supporting complex aerospace applications and mission-critical electronics. In this Applications Engineer opportunity, you’ll combine electrical engineering expertise with project leadership, proposal support, and hands-on customer/installation engagement across regulated environments.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Applications Engineer position include: Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience; component-level electrical design experience preferred Experience with AC/DC power conversion, LED driver circuits, lighting control electronics, PCB design, schematic capture, prototype testing, qualification testing, and sustaining engineering Authoring technical specifications, test procedures, qualification reports, acceptance test procedures, installation documents, operating manuals, technical proposals, and customer-facing engineering documentation Lead customer applications from opportunity definition through proposal support, engineering execution, production launch, installation support, and closeout Own engineering milestone tracking, including requirements complete, design input complete, proposal technical package complete, design review complete, documentation release, production readiness, installation support, and project closeout Standardize customer-facing engineering processes (aircraft survey templates, customer data-request checklists, proposal technical input templates, project action logs, installation-support reports, lessons-learned records) Interface directly with customers and coordinate projects across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Certification, Supply Chain, and Operations Eligibility for required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR and EAR export regulations Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience.
