Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through their lifecycle.
  • Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure software quality by following QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and Page Object Model (POM).
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
