Junior Insurance Systems & IT Support Assistant

An insurance firm in the West Midlands is looking for a motivated individual to join their team.<br />The Junior Insurance Systems &amp; IT Support Assistant will provide first-line technical support across business systems while supporting data security, compliance, and core insurance operations.<br />This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to begin a long-term career in IT within the financial services or insurance sector.<br />KEY DUTIES

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and internal insurance systems (e.g. policy administration systems, CRM platforms), diagnosing and resolving common user issues
• Assist staff with access to systems, including password resets, user account setup, and permissions management in line with data protection policies
• Support the monitoring of cyber security and data protection practices, identifying potential risks and escalating concerns in line with FCA and GDPR requirements
• Assist with maintaining secure handling of sensitive client data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
• Support routine system checks and basic troubleshooting of network and office-based technology
• Help maintain accurate records of IT support queries, system updates, and issue resolutions
• Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT equipment and system access<br />CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
