3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Location: West Seneca, NY Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually Description:
Position Summary

We are seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to direct maintenance personnel, manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and troubleshoot technical equipment to maximize plant reliability and uptime.

Shift: 3rd Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a 4-3-3-4 rotation, 12-hour shifts). Requires initial M-F day shift training (~2 months), as well as weekend and holiday availability.
Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Troubleshooting: Oversee maintenance of primary/ancillary plant systems; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and computer-controlled equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute PM/PdM programs across process and utility-related equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.
• Team Leadership & Labor: Direct and schedule maintenance personnel; manage employee safety, orientation, training, and performance.
• Compliance & Utilities: Assure first-line compliance with federal, state, and local environmental discharge regulations; oversee utility equipment and minor facility repairs.

Requirements

• Experience: Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics, PLC controllers, and process instrumentation; ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep technical troubleshooting background and understanding of environmental compliance standards.
• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (or 5+ years of in-depth experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration and steam boiler systems).

Pay: $81,700-$114,000 a year
