Account Executive

Sentry Insurance is seeking an Account Executive to drive commercial insurance growth in a captive Indiana territory. In this field-based role, you'll prospect and develop business clients, conduct in-depth needs analyses, and deliver tailored property, casualty, and benefits solutions. You'll manage a robust pipeline, negotiate terms, and partner with underwriting and claims to ensure excellent service. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to grow commercial insurance business within an assigned Indiana territory.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new commercial accounts while expanding relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct needs analyses and present tailored property, casualty, and benefits solutions to business customers.
• Manage a captive territory pipeline, forecast results, and meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare regular sales activity and results reports.
• Represent Sentry at industry events, networking functions, and community activities to build brand presence.
• Stay current on insurance products, regulations, and competitors to effectively position Sentry's offerings.
