Manufacturing Associate

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in West Greenwich, RI. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports Downstream Manufacturing Operations in a dynamic production environment for commercial, clinical, and launch activities. The position is 100% on the manufacturing floor and operates on a B-shift rotation, which is a swing shift that includes working weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will perform operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities:

• Run process operations ranging from chromatography, viral inactivation/neutralization, Depth Filtration, Ultra Filtration/Diafiltration, and final fill
• Perform lab testing for UV, pH, conductivity, Endotoxin, and TOC
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations
• Report any discrepancies to ensure quality standards and safety
• Receive, prepare, and feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities
• Document appropriate paperwork, understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics, and participate in daily performance meetings
• Use manual and powered pallet jacks to move equipment and buffer totes
• Use computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Biotechnology or a related scientific field
• OR Associate's degree
• OR High school diploma/GED and 1 year of relevant work or military experience
• Background in GMP is preferred
• Hard worker and independently motivated
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be available to work a swing shift, including weekends and holidays (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• This is a 100% onsite position in Rhode Island; no relocation is available

Pay range: up to $22.19 per hour
