As an employee in the Senior UX Researcher role, your key roles and responsibilities will include:

• Plan and execute user research studies to inform product design decisions
• Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product development
• Develop research plans, interview guides, and survey questionnaires to ensure data quality and rigor
• Conduct in-depth interviews, usability studies, and other research methods to gain insights into user behavior and attitudes
• Present research findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization, including product managers, designers, and executives
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX research, and apply them to improve the research process and deliverables
• Mentor and coach junior researchers to develop their skills and grow their careers in the field of UX research.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers in different time zones.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for making sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, stay organized, and multitask in fast-paced professional service environment.

Key Skills

• User experience evaluation(3): Tests the usability and accessibility of components and alternative designs. Identifies areas for future user research. Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation.
• User research(3): Applies standard methods to support user research initiatives. Engages effectively with users and customer representatives to generate high-quality research. Documents and shares the outcomes of users research projects.
• User experience analysis(3): Applies standard techniques and tools for developing user stories and eliciting user experience requirements. Works with stakeholders to prioritise requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Methods and tools(3): Provides support on the use of existing methods and tools. Creates and updates the documentation of methods, tools and tool documentation. If you have any questions, please contact us.
• User experience design(3): Reviews design goals and agreed security, usability and accessibility requirements. Creates storyboards, static wireframes and dynamic or workable prototypes.
• Systems design(3): Follows standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for simple systems or system components. Identifies alternative design options and seeks guidance when deviating from established designs.
• Research(3): Builds on and refines appropriate outline ideas for research, including evaluation, development, demonstration and implementation. Uses available resources to update knowledge of any relevant field and curates a personal collection of relevant material.
• Testing(3): Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes. Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and tests conditions. Automates testing tasks and builds test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.
