The service is transitioning from an offshore-only delivery model to a blended onshore/offshore model, and there is now an urgent requirement to build out the onshore team.

This is a newly formed onshore team, joining a well-established offshore team who will provide full knowledge transfer, alongside a wider change function already in place. Processes and governance forums are already established the priority is for new joiners to embed quickly and pick up delivery of business-as-usual service.

Change Manager

Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and client leadership, you will own the governance and control of all service changes ensuring they are implemented effectively, with minimal disruption, in a compliance-driven public sector environment.

Key deliverables:

  • Develop and maintain change roadmaps, schedules, and governance frameworks
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and impact analysis
  • Coordinate and/or chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions
  • Own change risk, issue, and dependency tracking through to resolution
  • Drive change communications, training coordination, and adoption reporting

Configuration Manager

You will maintain the consistency and integrity of the service's configuration items (CIs), owning the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring all changes are properly baselined, tracked, and audited.

Key deliverables:

  • Identify, categorise, and maintain configuration items (CIs) across the estate
  • Own baseline control and support Configuration/Change Control Boards
  • Maintain full status accounting and traceability of CI states
  • Conduct regular configuration audits against authorised baselines
  • Act as the link between engineering, QA, and governance stakeholders

Security Clearance

Active SC Clearance is required for both roles. This is mandatory and non-negotiable, candidates must hold active SC clearance.
