Director or Partner, Tech M&A - mid-market boutique - Goodman Masson

A successful and expanding independent boutique investment bank seeks another deal originator. Tech Deals are up to 500m and sweet spot is 150-200m.

You will be charismatic and entrepreneurial, you will possess deep sector knowledge and a strong network amongst founder led, VC and mid-market tech and you will have built up a robust deal execution skillset.

Core focus: Working independently and with other partners, you will help drive M&A deal origination and help oversee execution on a range of buy-side and sell-side UK transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Deal origination: Proactively identify and originate new M&A and capital raise opportunities through a strong personal network of industry contacts, investors, and intermediaries

• Lead client engagement from initial pitch through to mandate win, demonstrating deep sector insight and commercial acumen

• Business development

• Team development: Lead, mentor, and help develop a high-performing team of Tech investment banking professionals

• Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties

Required profile:

• You will have accrued significant experience within Tech focused M&A advisory in an investment bank, Big 4, private equity team, M&A Boutique or corporate development role
• Impressive track record of executing and originating mid-market sell and buy-side M&A
• If Director - execution experience is crucial and evidence of traction as an originator
• If Partner - a strong network and credentials are key
