EMC Engineer

Position: EMC Engineer
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BS)
We are looking for an experienced EMC Engineer to lead electromagnetic compatibility testing, troubleshoot compliance failures, and drive corrective actions throughout product development, certification, and production.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve EMC compliance failures
Conduct conducted and radiated emissions testing
Perform ESD, EFT, surge, RF immunity, voltage dips, interruptions, and flicker testing
Develop EMC solutions involving filtering, shielding, grounding, and isolation
Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and cable management
Support EMC certification, product validation, and compliance testing
dentify EMC risks during product architecture and development
Required Skills:
7+ years of hands-on EMC engineering experience
Strong knowledge of EMC compliance and certification standards
Experience with EMC testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
Proficiency in PCB layout analysis, schematic review, and oscilloscope use
Experience in HVAC, thermostats, smart controls, or electrical/electronic product manufacturing is a plus
