Job Title: EDI IBM Sterling Integrator Developer
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EDI IBM Sterling Integrator Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise EDI integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, EDI development, business processes, mapping, and integration protocols.
The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable integration solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with distributed teams to deliver reliable EDI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and support EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator.
- Develop and maintain Sterling business processes, maps, and integration workflows.
- Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement integration solutions and ensure delivery standards.
- Develop and support EDI mappings involving various data formats and transaction standards.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation planning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on EDI integration best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Sterling Integrator environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (version 5.2.6 or above).
- Strong experience developing, maintaining, and supporting EDI IBM Sterling Integrator solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Sterling Business Process Development.
- Strong knowledge of EDI mapping and transformation using:
- X12
- EDIFACT
- XML
- cXML
- CSV
- JSON
- Flat Files
- Experience with communication protocols:
- FTP / SFTP
- AS2
- VAN
- Strong knowledge of DB2, SQL, XML, XSLT, Web Services, and APIs.
- Experience with implementation planning, coordination, and delivering technical solutions.
- Understanding of EDI security concepts including encryption, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, scalability, and availability.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with global teams, and learn new technologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Mainframe technologies.
- Knowledge of COBOL and DB2.
