Job Description
The Material Handler will support material movement, receiving, inventory control, storage, and internal material requests in a fast-paced onsite Supply Chain environment. This position works closely with laboratory staff and other internal teams to ensure materials are accurately received, stored, retrieved, and delivered.
Key responsibilities include receiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying shipment accuracy, completing receiving transactions in the ERP system, stocking materials, performing cycle counts, managing lot-controlled and time- or temperature-sensitive materials, supporting Raw Material Requests, maintaining material storage requirements, and assisting delivery personnel with loading and unloading.
Position details:
- Hourly rate: $20.78;
- Contract length: 12 months with possible extension;
- Location: Bothell, WA;
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite;
- Maximum hours: 40 hours per week;
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch;
- W-2 contract position;
- No C2C options;
- No visa sponsorship.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED;
- 1–3 years of material handling experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment;
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills;
- Ability to adapt to rapid change, handle multiple responsibilities, and work under pressure;
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds and stand at least 50% of the time;
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems, including SAP EWM;
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
