Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with Security Clearance

The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems
• Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code
• Identify and resolve issues found in existing code
• Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
• Communicate status and technical details with customers Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
• U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance Required Experience
• 1 2 + years experience writing, maintaining , debugging, and testing code
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python
• Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular and Vue
• Experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA Required Skills
• Ability to communicate technical details of work
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Open, team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn Desired Experience
• Experience with containerized deployment such as Docker
• Experience utilizing document store databases, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch and MongoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
