This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate to take ownership of complex professional indemnity and financial lines matters for a diverse client base that includes leading Australian and international insurers, government panels and London market syndicates.

The team advises on indemnity, liability and coverage issues involving a wide range of professionals, including accountants, financial advisers, insolvency practitioners, medical and health professionals, engineers, building surveyors, builders and contractors.

With the practice continuing to grow across professional indemnity, D&O and broader financial lines work, there is genuine scope to shape the position around your experience and ambitions. If you enjoy variety, you can maintain a broad practice spanning construction, engineering, financial and corporate matters. Alternatively, if you want to establish a defined specialty, the Partners will support you to deepen your expertise, build your market profile and develop a practice in your chosen area.

As a Senior Associate, you will have genuine ownership of your files, direct client contact and be relied upon to contribute to the development of junior lawyers in the team. You will also play an important role in strengthening existing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

You will work closely with two highly regarded Partners and several Special Counsels. They offer an approachable and supportive leadership style while giving senior lawyers the trust and autonomy to manage matters independently.
