Job Description
Construction Project Manager An established construction and property consultancy is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, public sector, regeneration and mixed-use developments.
The Role You will manage projects from inception through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for clients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include:
Managing projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover<br />Developing and maintaining project programmes and delivery strategies<br />Coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project stakeholders<br />Monitoring scope, programme, quality, budget and project performance<br />Managing project risks, change control and mitigation strategies<br />Overseeing procurement and consultant/contractor appointments<br />Chairing project meetings and preparing client reports<br />Supporting contract administration and statutory approvals<br />Building strong client relationships and supporting business development<br />Contributing to the development of junior team members About You Degree qualified in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Surveying or a related discipline<br />Proven experience delivering construction/property projects within consultancy, client-side or contractor environments<br />Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance<br />Experience managing projects across design, procurement and construction<br />Knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar construction contracts<br />Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills<br />Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams<br />Strong programme, risk and reporting skills<br />Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost, risk and value management<br />Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills<br />Professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent is desirable but not essential What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits<br />Diverse projects and clients across multiple sectors<br />Genuine career progression opportunities<br />Professional membership and chartership support<br />Training, mentoring and professional development<br />Opportunities to work with wider specialist teams and networks
