Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer (HVAP Training Provided) Location: North West London - Static Large Site Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Upper banding dependent on HVAP status) Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm About the Role Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, rewarding role within a thriving educational environment? Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a diverse educational campus. Fault-find and rectify issues with single/three-phase power, lighting, distribution boards, and emergency systems. Once trained/qualified, act as the site's High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP), managing HV switching schedules and issuing permits to work. Oversee external contractors and ensure all work complies with health, safety, and building regulations. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation. What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) and 18th Edition. Experience: Proven track record in commercial or large-scale site maintenance (e.g., universities, hospitals, corporate headquarters). HVAP Status: Ideally already an HVAP (securing the £50k-£55k bracket), OR a strong electrical background with the drive to undergo HV training (starting in the £45k-£50k bracket).
