Oracle FCCS Senior Lead Consultant / Solution Architect

Job Summary The Oracle FCCS Senior Lead Consultant / Solution Architect will serve as an onsite Finance Transformation lead supporting and optimizing an Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation landscape. The role will provide deep expertise in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), financial accounting, global consolidation, financial close, statutory reporting, intercompany processing, and integration between Oracle Fusion Financials and FCCS. The consultant will act as a key liaison between Finance leadership, business users, and Oracle technology teams while leading onsite-offshore delivery teams and driving implementation, stabilization, support, and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the onsite FCCS Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary point of contact for Finance and Corporate Accounting stakeholders. Lead Oracle FCCS implementation, support, stabilization, and enhancement activities. Manage global consolidation, intercompany eliminations, ownership management, currency translation, and financial close processes. Design and support Oracle FCCS applications, including Consolidation, Close Manager, Task Manager, Supplemental Data Management, and Reporting.

Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and develop functional solution designs. Define and optimize month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes. Drive integration between Oracle Fusion Financials, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM, and Oracle FCCS. Manage metadata, hierarchies, close calendars, reporting packages, and governance controls. Support data loads, validation, reconciliation, drill-through capabilities, and audit requirements. Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and production support activities.

Coordinate SIT, UAT, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare activities. Provide executive-level status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Lead and mentor offshore teams while ensuring adherence to delivery standards and best practices. Develop FCCS solution design documents, consolidation process and rule documentation, and financial close governance frameworks. Maintain metadata and hierarchy management documentation and data integration and reconciliation frameworks. Develop consolidated financial reporting packages and Smart View reporting templates.

Support test script development, UAT, go-live activities, knowledge transfer, and operational runbooks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an enhancement roadmap. Required Qualifications 12+ years of Oracle EPM and financial systems experience. 5+ years of hands-on Oracle FCCS implementation and support experience. Experience with at least 3 end-to-end Oracle FCCS implementations or major transformation programs. Mandatory experience with Oracle ARCS and EPBCS.

Strong understanding of financial consolidation, group reporting, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial statement consolidation. Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R), financial governance, compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting. Strong experience with Oracle FCCS and Oracle Fusion Financials. Experience with Close Manager, Task Manager, EDMCS, Data Management/FDMEE, Smart View, and Calculation Manager. Experience with Groovy scripting and EPM Automate. Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and SQL.

Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials and Record-to-Report processes. Experience supporting global consolidation environments involving multiple legal entities, currencies, and reporting standards. Proven experience interacting with CFOs, Controllers, Corporate Accounting teams, and PMO leadership. Experience leading onsite-offshore support and enhancement engagements.

Preferred Qualifications Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programs. Experience optimizing complex global financial close and consolidation environments. Ability to lead cross-functional Finance and technology stakeholders through transformation initiatives. Certifications Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) Certification preferred. Oracle Cloud EPM Certification preferred. Oracle Fusion Financials Certification preferred.
