Senior QA Automation Engineer (UFT / Azure DevOps)

We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Tester with strong manual testing experience to support a large-scale, mission-critical child welfare data system. You will collaborate with Agile delivery teams to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks that ensure high system performance, security, and scalability.

Location: Hartford, CT (Must be local or willing to relocate)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 20% on-site presence required)

Core Required Skills (5+ Years Experience)

• Azure DevOps Suite: Proficient with Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Automation Tools: Strong experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript (or comparable enterprise programming languages).
• Testing Core: Designing automated frameworks, test beds, test strategies, and manual testing.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in large-scale Agile software development environments.

Highly Valued Tech & Knowledge

• Platforms: Hands-on experience or familiarity with Salesforce, SharePoint, and the .NET Framework.
• API & Web Services: Testing experience with REST, SOAP, and WCF using tools like SoapUI.
• Database & Integration: Strong SQL skills, Microsoft SQL Server, and familiarity with MuleSoft or Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Specialized Testing: Cross-browser, mobile, regression, and ADA / Section 508c compliance verification.
