Patient Care Technician I, Full Time, Days, AMG Multispecialty, Cedar Knolls, NJ

Accountabilities:

• The essential functions of this position includes assisting patients with obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights

• Assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, accommodations as needed

• performing EKG's, if needed

• Taking patient histories, preparing examination rooms, and helping with minor medical procedures like wound care, vaccinations, and blood draws, if needed

• Observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the physician

• Examination rooms: Preparing examination rooms as needed

• Documentation: Documenting patient information and data, including vital signs, weight, height, blood pressure, and temperature

• Supplies and equipment: Preparing, organizing, and efficiently utilizing supplies and equipment

• Patient Care Technician must be willing and able to work with diverse group of patients, each with unique healthcare needs. They need to be attentive to detail and have excellent communication skills.

• Maintaining equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned.
