Job Description

Job Title: Modality Manager IGT-D International ANZ

Job Description: Philips IGT-D International is seeking a Modality Manager for ANZ to provide advanced technical, project, and customer support for Coronary and Laser systems. The role combines field service expertise, escalation management, installation project coordination, training, and customer relationship management across direct and distributor markets.

Modality Management and Technical Support Specialist (TSS)
  • Act as the ANZ technical lead for IGT-D MMS and Laser systems, supporting market teams, distributor FSEs, and customers with TSS and Tier 2 expertise.
  • Deliver complex installations, repairs, FCOs, pre-installation visits, remote and onsite troubleshooting, and escalation support.
  • Train and certify Philips and distributor field service engineers for installation readiness and service quality.
  • Improve installation First Time Right performance, remote connectivity adoption, service documentation accuracy, and complaint handling.
  • Represent Philips in the field by maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying customer needs, supporting commercial opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Customer Project Manager (CPM)
  • Manage the ANZ installation funnel for MMS and Laser systems from sales handover through customer acceptance and project closure.
  • Coordinate site preparation, shipment readiness, installation planning, stakeholder communication, risks, issues, and project changes.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Authorized Service Partners, and local Philips teams to deliver installations on time, within quality expectations, and ready for service handover.
  • Ensure timely project closure, sales recognition, post-project evaluation, and continuous improvement based on customer feedback and lessons learned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent work experience, preferably with medical instrumentation knowledge.
  • Advanced technical competence on servicing IGTD systems, either mobile or integrated systems in both Philips and competitive cathlabs.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Tier 2 IGTD.
  • Experience on managing IGTD Installations, both in Philips and competitive cathlabs.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking, and DICOM.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with ability to train, guide, and support teams.
  • SAP and SalesForce experience.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of work time.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
