CTC: Up to 25 LPA (Based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a US Audit Associate with hands-on experience working directly with a US CPA firm. The ideal candidate will support audit engagements, perform audit testing, evaluate internal controls, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports while ensuring compliance with US auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute audit engagements under the guidance of Seniors, Managers, and Partners.
• Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, testing, and documentation review.
• Review accounting procedures and internal control systems.
• Prepare audit workpapers, financial statements, audit reports, and management letters.
• Perform analytical reviews and accounting research for audit and compliance matters.
• Coordinate with clients regarding audit queries, findings, and document requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments and report issuance.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, SAS, and other applicable auditing standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• 3+ years of US Audit experience with a US CPA firm (direct exposure mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SAS, audit procedures, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and audit tools/software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
• CPA qualification or pursuing CPA will be an added advantage.
