Lead Cloud Systems Engineer (2026-0136) with Security Clearance

We are actively hiring a Cloud Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support a program in Chantilly, VA. In this role you will design and deploy AWS based cloud infrastructure globally. What You'll Be Doing: * Assist in the design, implementation, and integration of systems under the guidance of senior engineers. * Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability. * Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure system specifications are met. * Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. * Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with industry standards. * Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. * Ensure systems are designed and maintained following best practices and regulatory requirements. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and efficiency. * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to current systems. Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. * 7-14 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role. * Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies. * Experience with system modeling, simulation, and analysis tools. * Experience with AWS and Terraform for cloud solutions. * Experience with Java. * Experience integrating external hardware data into internal workflows using MongoDB. * Experience integrating external database data into internal workflows using MongoDB. * 30-40% international travel required. * Must possess an active passport or be able to obtain one immediately upon hire. Desired Skills: * Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages is a plus. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
