Technical Program Manager (Agile) — Tech Delivery
Location: Phoenix, AZ (on-site/hybrid)
Visa : H1B , GC
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agile Technical Program Manager to support Tech Delivery. This person will drive the planning, coordination, and execution of technical workstreams across cross-functional engineering and product teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on program manager who thrives in agile environments, communicates clearly across technical and business stakeholders, and keeps complex delivery efforts on track, on scope, and transparent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program and release planning across multiple agile teams, coordinating dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and help teams continuously improve their delivery cadence.
- Own and maintain program artifacts, roadmaps, and status reporting to provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and blockers.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, escalating and driving resolution as needed.
- Partner with engineering leads, product owners, and business stakeholders to align priorities and ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Track and report on program metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, delivery health) to inform decision-making.
- Administer and optimize Jira Cloud (boards, workflows, dashboards, reporting) and Confluence (documentation, program spaces, knowledge management).
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize workstreams, including basic use of AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in a technology delivery environment.
- Strong working knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar) and demonstrated ability to apply them in practice.
- Hands-on proficiency with Jira Cloud (configuration, boards, workflows, dashboards, reporting).
- Proficiency with Confluence for documentation and program collaboration.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Basic familiarity with AI tools and how they can be applied to optimize workstreams, reporting, and documentation (foundational understanding is sufficient — deep technical AI expertise is not required).
- Experience in large-scale, enterprise, or financial-services technology delivery environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSM, PMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
