Job Description

We are looking for Project Manager 4 (Part-time) for our client in Henrico, VA.

Job Title: Project Manager 4 (Part-time)

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Active PMP certification from PMI.
  • Strong background in planning, executing, and managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex problems, organize priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new approaches, systems, and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience guiding business and IT stakeholders through discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles, with hands-on experience running Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall projects.
  • Skilled in collaborating with vendors and overseeing successful implementation of vendor solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team members through process mapping and requirements gathering.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the project.
  • Oversee the various system implementation phases and processes.
  • Oversee acceptable user acceptance testing.
  • Certify that the solution is ready for deployment and is fully implemented as planned.
  • Manage change management processes.
  • Oversee overall vendor management and project closeout.
  • Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports for executive management and the board.
  • Coordinate project team members and develop and track schedules and individual responsibilities.
  • Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
