Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) | Remote Telehealth Role

Location: Kentucky
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Kentucky-licensed LMFT to provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families through telehealth. The position centers on relationship and family-focused clinical work, with clients presenting with concerns such as communication difficulties, conflict, emotional strain, and significant changes in their lives. You’ll manage a regular client schedule, conduct therapy sessions, and use your clinical judgment to determine the appropriate direction of care. The role also includes the documentation and follow-up required to maintain continuity throughout treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth
  • Explore relationship dynamics, family circumstances, and concerns brought into treatment
  • Establish appropriate goals and determine the focus of ongoing therapy
  • Use clinical interventions suited to the client’s needs and treatment objectives
  • Help clients address communication problems, conflict, emotional concerns, and life changes
  • Reassess treatment direction as client needs or circumstances develop
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field
  • Active Kentucky LMFT license
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Strong clinical assessment and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage treatment planning and documentation independently
  • Comfortable providing care through telehealth
  • Knowledge of ethical, privacy, and professional practice standards
  • $115,000–$120,000 per year
  • Full-time remote position
