Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and a technical development team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements to support system enhancements, maintenance, and integration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business units to understand operational needs, translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage work items using Azure DevOps. This role will also support system integrations involving healthcare organizations, business partners, data exchanges, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

• Develop detailed user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria using Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to understand business needs, define requirements, and prioritize enhancements.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate completed functionality.

• Support system implementation and integration activities involving healthcare organizations and business partners.

• Document business processes, workflows, system requirements, and application changes.

• Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for system and process improvements.

• Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, issues, dependencies, and requirements to stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to system functionality and business processes.

• Assist with training, implementation, post-production support, and stabilization activities as needed.

Required / Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.

• Hands-on experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile work items.

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.

• Experience supporting UAT, functional testing, and requirement validation.

• Experience working with healthcare information systems, hospital workflows, healthcare operations, or health IT integrations is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.

• Experience working effectively with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and project managers.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience with system implementation, integration, production support, or process improvement is a plus.
