The Role • Greet customers and assist them with questions regarding merchandise, location, pricing, and promotions. • Process customer sales efficiently using a cash register and handle various forms of payment. • Respond to customer inquiries about product selection, orders, pricing, and delivery schedules. • Facilitate product selection for showroom customers and ensure accurate record-keeping. • Purchase special products and gather information on pricing, specifications, uses, and availability. • Maintain the appearance and integrity of the showroom and sales floor. What You'll Need • High School Diploma or GED. • 1-3 years of building material knowledge and sales experience preferred. • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service with good oral and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and possess strong mathematical skills. • Familiarity with building materials, applications, and the construction industry. • Ability to use a calculator, computer, and common office equipment.
