Technical Delivery Coordinator – Investment Operations Technology

📍 San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Coordinator to support Investment Operations Technology by driving delivery execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely resolution of technical and data-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in capital markets, investment operations, Agile delivery, and data engineering coordination.

• Coordinator role, not a project or program role. There is no project. The team is operational and runs on a continuous sprint cadence.
• Owns internal coordination: run sprint planning and scrum sessions, drive the team forward, make sure planned objectives are met on a sprint basis and a quarterly basis.
• Manages three to four sub teams (roughly three scrum teams) within the data engineering org.
• Lean scrum, not textbook or "fully religious" scrum process.
• Works in tandem with peer leads across app engineering and product, all pointed at delivery.
• Works directly with release managers to get items released per sprint goals.
• Will gain exposure over time to the full integrated system landscape and business process flow across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of business-as-usual and project initiatives across Investment Operations Technology.
• Serve as the primary techno-functional contact for data issue triage, investigation, routing, and resolution.
• Manage issue lifecycle, ensuring SLA compliance and timely escalation of critical production issues.
• Partner with Investment Operations, Technology, and Data Engineering teams to drive seamless delivery.
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, Scrum ceremonies, and monthly team meetings.
• Own JIRA governance, backlog management, ticket quality, prioritization, and workflow adherence.
• Track delivery KPIs, develop operational dashboards, and provide leadership reporting.
• Drive process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project/delivery coordination within Capital Markets, preferably in a buy-side Asset Management environment.
• Strong knowledge of Investment Operations, including account structures, product hierarchies, and performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Experience managing Agile delivery using JIRA, including backlog grooming and sprint coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
