Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to lead the Quote to Cash (QTC) and Finance workstream for a strategic Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration initiative.

The successful candidate will bridge business and technology teams and drive the requirements, design, integration, and delivery of an acquired company''s business processes and systems into an existing CRM and SAP ERP landscape.

This role requires strong expertise in SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC), SAP BRIM, CPQ, Finance, CRM, and enterprise transformation, along with proven experience in M&A integration, platform consolidation, or similar complex transformation programs.

The Product Manager will work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Order Management, Revenue Accounting, IT, SAP/CRM teams, and acquired-company stakeholders to ensure a seamless, compliant, and minimally disruptive transition.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for Quote to Cash and Finance integration, from discovery through go-live and hypercare.
  • Lead requirements gathering, process discovery, and gap analysis between acquired-company processes/systems and the target CRM/SAP environment.
  • Define future-state processes covering:
    • Quoting and pricing
    • CPQ
    • Contract management
    • Order booking
    • Billing and invoicing
    • Revenue recognition
    • Collections
    • Cash application
    • Financial close
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements.
  • Partner with SAP FI/CO, SAP SD/OTC, BRIM, CRM, and integration teams to ensure requirements are properly configured and delivered.
  • Define and manage data migration and integration strategies for:
    • Customer master data
    • Product master data
    • Pricing
    • Contracts
    • Orders
    • Financial data
  • Drive cutover, data conversion, reconciliation, and dual-run/parallel-processing requirements.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, M&A timelines, dependencies, compliance requirements, and delivery priorities.
  • Partner with Finance and Controllership teams to address ASC 606 / IFRS 15, tax, statutory reporting, audit, and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Coordinate UAT planning and execution, including business scenarios, test cases, defect prioritization, and triage.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular status reporting to the M&A Integration PMO, executive sponsors, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Identify risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints and drive appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Support organizational change management, training, and business readiness activities.
  • Ensure business requirements are traceable through design, development, testing, deployment, and production validation.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, communication plans, stakeholder responsibilities, and RACI/RACIA models.
  • Monitor project KPIs including schedule, effort, cost, scope stability, quality, defects, risks, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Agile/Scrum or hybrid Agile-Waterfall delivery practices.
  • Mentor and guide project teams while promoting reusable processes, tools, and best practices.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, IT Program/Project Management, or related roles.
  • Strong experience with Quote to Cash (QTC), Order to Cash (OTC/O2C), or Finance transformation initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on functional knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly:
    • SAP SD
    • SAP FI/CO
    • SAP OTC
    • SAP BRIM
  • Experience with enterprise CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of CPQ, quoting, pricing, contracting, order management, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, collections, and cash application.
  • Proven experience supporting M&A integrations, carve-outs, divestitures, platform consolidations, or enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience with data migration, data conversion, reconciliation, and system cutover planning.
  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts, including ASC 606 / IFRS 15, taxation, statutory reporting, and financial close.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Aha!, Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, executive leadership, and external/acquired-company teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid Agile-Waterfall environments.
  • Strong project planning, estimation, risk management, issue management, schedule management, and governance experience.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating an acquired company''s CRM/ERP environment into a parent company''s platform.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP CPQ.
  • Experience with SAP BRIM / Billing and Revenue Innovation Management.
  • Experience with CRM-to-SAP integration middleware such as:
    • MuleSoft
    • Dell Boomi
    • SAP CPI
  • Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-country finance operations.
  • PMP, CSPO, or equivalent Product/Program Management certification.
  • Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 firm or SAP/CRM systems integrator.
  • Experience with M&A, divestiture, or carve-out programs in large enterprise environments.

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, estimates, and delivery plans.
  • Track planned versus actual schedule, effort, cost, and resource utilization.
  • Identify schedule dependencies and develop mitigation/fast-track strategies.
  • Maintain risk and issue registers and drive escalation where required.
  • Define stakeholder communication plans and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Support test strategy, SIT/UAT, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and business-impact assessment.
  • Establish governance and quality standards appropriate to the program.
  • Track project health using quantitative metrics and take corrective action when required.
  • Promote engineering and delivery best practices across teams.

 

Success Criteria

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Successful mapping and gap analysis of the acquired company''s QTC and Finance processes.
  • Timely integration onto the target CRM/SAP platform.
  • Clean and accurate data migration and reconciliation.
  • Minimal business disruption during cutover.
  • Successful validation of financial and revenue processes.
  • Strong alignment between Sales, Finance, IT, and acquired-company stakeholders.
  • Clear requirements and end-to-end traceability from business need through deployment.
  • Effective management of scope, risks, dependencies, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Successful UAT, go-live, and post-production hypercare.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Product Manager / Product Owner with deep SAP OTC/BRIM and QTC expertise who can bridge business and technology. They should be comfortable working in complex enterprise environments, understand CPQ and contracting platforms, and have successfully supported QTC transformation, M&A integration, carve-out, or platform consolidation initiatives.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, requirements leadership, and execution skills are essential for this role.
